Spring is making itself known, and our line-up is blossoming too. Time for a new, multicolored bouquet of artists. 25 names, ranging from alt. country to Brazilian folk and from shoegaze to a mantra-rock-dada-pythagorean-cubist orchestra from Quebec. All on one tiny island in the Wadden Sea.
The attentive viewer could already have known: Angine de Poitrine is coming to Vlieland. The black-and-white-speckled math rock virus is spreading at lightning speed across the world, and will also make the Wadden Sea surge with its microtonal guitars and extraterrestrial time signatures. Jacob Alon - that other great promise - instead seeks stillness, with bittersweet folk-pop so personal it hurts.
We are also bracing ourselves for Prostitute and their fusion of noise and Arabic dance rhythms, and we are expanding our alt-country stable with Greg Freeman and Ryan Davis & the Roadhouse Band. For jazz lovers, there is Nyron Higor, all the way from Northeast Brazil, with a warm-blooded mix of ambient, folk, and jazzy arrangements.
So music from all corners of the world, but not all talent comes from far away. The deeply personal art-pop of Ghent-based Dressed Like Boys for example, or ‘Nederbelg’ Frans Kalf, whose poetic singer-songwriter songs move as easily as they unsettle. Antwerp rap luminary Yong Yello and boogie machine Lézard complete the Flemish delegation. Here we go, from A to Z:
Angine de Poitrine - Dressed Like Boys - Frans Kalf - Greg Freeman - Honey I'm Home - Horsegirl - Hudson Freeman - Il Mago Del Gelato - Jacob Alon - jet van der steen - Joshua Idehen - Kaya - Kruidkoek & Joost Oomen - Lézard - Monster Florence - Nyron Higor - Personal Trainer - Politie Warnsveld - Prostitute - Radio Free Alice - Rikas - Ryan Davis & the Roadhouse Band - Saint Clair - sor - Yong Yello

The artwork has once again been created by our designers in residence: Ilse and Bas of SIVK (@studioilsevanklei). All the news can also be heard in the ITGWO'26 playlist, listen to it here:
