Every year, Into The Great Wide Open tries to further reduce its fossil emissions. The transport of visitors is perhaps the biggest challenge in this regard. Last year, half of the festival-goers travelled emission-free to Harlingen. This year we want more. We are making fossil-free travel even easier with the Good Travel Planner: a tool that plans a fully sustainable journey for you - from your front door to the ferry terminal in Harlingen. Without you having to think about it.
The Good Travel Planner helps visitors start their journey to the ferry fossil-free. Enter your city, number of travel companions, and amount of luggage - and the tool calculates the best Good Travel option based on your preferences. Depending on your priorities (cheap, comfortable, fast), the tool presents several options: cycling, buses, trains, walking, or a shared electric car.
