More than sixty days from now, the fifteenth edition of Into The Great Wide Open will begin on Vlieland. The music program has already taken shape, especially with an additional twenty new names that we are adding to the poster today. A colorful ensemble that moves somewhere between noise and neoclassical.

With among others Ibibio Sound Machine, where afrofuturistic disco and electro-funk merge into a vibrant live show. Or Luvcat, who immerses her blood-romantic goth pop in theatrical grandeur – think: Moulin Rouge filled with dripping candles. Furthermore: the haunting melancholy of Billie Marten, garage punk as a high sport from Melbourne by Delivery and the noise rockers of Grote Geelstaart. The Belgo-Cameroonian Lubiana combines African blues and gospel with progressive soul and will showcase that at Vuurboetsduin.
Also new is the Moroccan-Arabic folk of Roufaida, synth pop with hooks from Pol, the literary folk rock by Folk Bitch Trio and the cosmic Brussels beats of ECHT!.
Unfortunately, Wild Pink and Tucker Zimmerman have to cancel their visit to Vlieland, but the program offers plenty of beauty. Check that here and download the ITGWO app in advance.
