We all want love. We want to be inspired. But we also just want our house to be a bit tidy, for someone to lie next to us tonight. Folk Bitch Trio rhymes the big with the small, sings about life as both tragedy and comedy – and does it in stunning harmonies. You could call the trio an Australian boygenius, although the warm folk rock of their debut, Now Would Be A Good Time, often reminds one of Crosby, Stills, Nash and, indeed, Young. For those who are young and dissatisfied, the songs of the three will sound like reading a novel by Ottessa Moshfegh. Those who are old and happy can also indulge.
