Endlessly versatile Nederhop veteran is here to demolish the system, sound system included.
With enough hits on his resume to tour as a nostalgia act until the end of time, Sef always chooses to pull the carpet from under his own feet. The 41-year-old rapper does not like comfort. This is not the time for that. His award-winning album I Could Die For Many Things But Not For A Flag (2023) was quickly followed by the wonderfully tumultuous IJsland, his duo with Abel van Gijlswijk. Now there is another new album (dear monsters), a new band, new electronic sound – the same life force, or is it perhaps fear of death? Life is finite, the Doomsday Clock is set to ninety seconds to midnight, but Sef will philosophize and disrupt until the end.
