Amsterdam discovery paints on stage, raps on the canvas, and has a good taste.
In the current economy, as a musician, you can hardly avoid being 'multidisciplinary'. You have to make ends meet somehow. But NOAH truly lives up to the term. Even before he was picked up by Noah's Ark, he was a stylist and painter, painting the jackets that other artists wore on stage. That craftsmanship now reflects in his own music. On his debut album Silk Road Radio Vol. 1, the Amsterdammer raps about flex oil, baking paper, and his heat press. His bars are unusual anyway and further filled with references to classical literature and Greek mythology. No wonder Sticks called him 'one of the new names in Dutch hip-hop' and invited him as the opening act at AFAS: NOAH's very first live show in his own city.
