Dutch noise to keep you awake for the rest of the weekend
Great Yellowtail sees hairy rats everywhere. They see the walls moving and every time they look out the window, it pours down from the sky. Life is hell indeed – and these five Bevelanders are all too happy to be the house band. They make driving, sputtering, grating, out-of-control noiserock, no less. Still, Great Yellowtail has something of a devilish disco group, one that spontaneously gives all its listeners St. John's disease. They are like a Boschian black midi. Disturbingly young, frantic pests. Two drummers playing for four. Each song just as frantic, as if yet again a boatload of poor souls must be welcomed. Come dance - there is no other choice.
