We received good news: Into The Great Wide Open has been nominated for the Transition Awards 2025. Out of 237 submissions, the expert jury has selected us as one of the five contenders in the category 'Mobility'.
The nomination is a recognition for two important aspects of the festival's sustainable course: the Good Journey program and the pilot project surrounding emission-free construction equipment. Both initiatives are part of the broader ambition of Into The Great Wide Open to evolve into a fully circular and climate-positive festival.
The jury praises the impact, originality, inspirational power, and replicability of the project. In other words: this approach makes a difference and simultaneously shows that it can be done differently.
