Karel Doing in De Lepelaar
Specially for the live film and music performance Becoming Earth in the Nicolaaskerk (see Kriskras), artist and (experimental) filmmaker Karel Doing has created film material using plants that specifically occur on Vlieland. The visual material created for this can be seen this weekend in the new nature education center De Lepelaar.
While you are there, also take a walk past the installation that artist Jikke Lesterhuis (resident Standplaats Vlieland 2025 and art program 2026) made especially for De Lepelaar.
