Mood Board
Incredibly catchy indie rock with a treacherous noise edge
Four years ago, Tilburg-based Mood Bored started an international charm offensive.
The recipe? An addictive kind of shoegazey indie rock with gold-rimmed choruses, packaged in bite-sized chunks of about three minutes. But little bands grow up, and the sound of this trio has since undergone quite a few growth spurts. The teeth are sharper and there is more room for experiment, noise, and some inevitable cynicism. But what always remains are those choruses that you will keep humming until your dying day.
