The program of Into The Great Wide Open is just like the Wadden Sea: always in motion and never the same. While waves kiss the horizon, new names wash ashore that further color the festival poster. Today we add 26 musical acts, all to be seen from August 28 to 31, 2025.

The Mary Wallopers brings their Irish punk folk straight from the pub to Vlieland, while Uwade slows everything down to pure beauty: her voice like a caress, her songs a kind of prayer. Sef is also present, with new work and familiar sharpness. Always good for a broad smile.
Exciting acts from overseas are coming. English Teacher serves intelligent guitar pop with a sharp edge, while Kofi Stone impresses with flowing, soulful rhymes. More British flair? Everything Is Recorded, the versatile project of XL Recordings boss Richard Russell, promises a show full of surprises. It will certainly be special.
There is also room for introspection. Tucker Zimmerman, a living legend and storyteller par excellence, shares his songs with a tranquility that leaves you in awe. Just like Nagasaki Swim, the melancholic indie folk from Rotterdam, or the dreamlike sound of Chloe Slater, which envelops you like a warm blanket.
The dance floor is not forgotten. On the contrary. St. Paul is back in his symbolic home base. Arp Frique & The Perpetual Singers will take you to tropical dimensions at the end of August, and Kin'Gongolo Kiniata shows that percussion is not just an instrument, but an experience in itself. Bassolino and Housepainters color the night with rhythms that hover somewhere between disco, funk, and ecstasy.
That's just the beginning at Into The Great Wide Open 2025. Check here for the already announced program or download the ITGWO app.
