The world on fire? Erin West from Coventry puts it out with a pint. Meanwhile, she raps in her Adidas tracksuit with bravado about her favorite EastEnders characters and the sad state of her Ford Fiesta – should there still be any misunderstanding about which country West comes from. In this capacity, surrounded by a delightfully venomous, quasi-industrial punk band, she is called shortstraw. With barely three singles to her name, she has already been the opening act for SOFT PLAY and The Libertines. Whether she indeed has drawn the short straw is thus the question. She has a short fuse anyway.
