The work 53°18’02.3”N 5°05’12.0”E (53.300640, 5.086674) creates an interaction between machine-like components and the characteristic natural elements of Vlieland; sea, beach, dunes, forest, sun, and wind. In a natural but also alienating way, there is, in the middle of the beautiful nature of the island, a sound composition where weather conditions, acceptance, and patience play a significant role.
The work will be installed in July and will be open for visitors throughout the summer, up to and including the festival.
