NONI KOOIMAN & LELANI LEWIS
The centuries-old Caribbean agricultural system of 'the three sisters' already knew it: corn, beans, and squash complement each other. The corn grows tall and strong, so the beans can climb up the corn stalk, enriching the soil with nitrogen from the air. The squash spreads low and wide, keeping moisture in the soil and preventing weeds. This menu talks about how diversity in our world might just be the only answer to all unrest.
