Bogwaters - 4 min, Netherlands, 2022

In a Dutch nature reserve* two waterways run parallel to each other. If you move over the water surface through the eyes of a dragonfly, which perceives different wavelengths and can 'see' many times faster (200 images per second) than a human, you move from one channel to another. The images change from black and white to infrared, and we see the reserve through an unusual color spectrum and at an unusual speed.

*) The former peat extraction waters of the Peel have developed into protected natural areas amid extreme industrial animal husbandry.
