Balm for the soul / morning light / multi-voice breakfast to get out of bed
We all long for harmony. Lumï is all about that. They once merged with the Portuguese singer-songwriter MARO (seen in Vlieland just last year), who invited the Dutch duo to tour with them, thereby forcing them to actually start writing songs. Songs that, as the soft sounds suggest, seemed to descend spontaneously from heaven. The singing as sweet and soothing as that of Billie Eilish and boygenius at their most delicate, feels like an ephemera, fleeting before you even realize it, but sticks around like a first love, like a scorching summer day – until deep into the night, only to shine through your roller blind again at dawn.
