Notes
Notes is a 3-part 'storm agreement' and a 3-part voting agreement that explores the possible cross-modality of scent and sound. The combination of these two physical yet ephemeral sensory experiences is molded into a physical yet transient object: a fragrant ice record. The way in which the scents and sounds are composed also depends on your own interaction & response.
About Lauren Jetty
Lauren Jetty is an ArtScience Master's graduate from the United Kingdom and currently lives and works in The Hague. Her thesis titled [Na]Scent Language was nominated for the Master Thesis award. It is an interactive publication that explores scent and language across different cultures and gameplay. The cross-pollination of sensory experience is an integral part of her practice; how our senses can work together or contradict each other. Her work often resides at the intersection of disciplines and investigates the physicality of experience in an increasingly digitized world.
