Lars Unger

Day Painting

Lars uses slide projections to illuminate and graphically break through three-dimensional space in various ways. Changing structures and patterns, colors, and shapes are projected onto the environment. It creates a constant change in its atmosphere and texture. Motifs alternate between organic, technological, geometric, and architectural.

Lars Vlieland himself is used as an image source. Places, objects, buildings, and even the smallest details he encounters on the island are featured in the painting created from various slides.

Every evening there will be another gigantic light display. Projected onto trees, hills, and the festival visitor who can walk around in it.
