Sleeping Gold 2.0
One sees clouds, the other mountains, or rocks. The installation Sleeping Gold 2.0 looks like a natural phenomenon that breathes at a human pace. The rhythm breathes life into otherwise lifeless matter. This lifeless yet breathing being becomes a friendly companion. It transforms an open space into a shared place and shifts the focus from being alone to being together.
Vibe along with deep drones, glitches, and pulsing beats; sing along with rarely heard sounds of seals, whales, and other underwater creatures using their whole bodies to create sublime sound. It strongly seems that dance and electronic music were invented here long before humanity was aware of it. Just as you consider staying underwater forever, you are roughly expelled. You find yourself back on dry land and look out over the sea from the highest dune.
