That you are studying the dune sand between your toes through your eyelashes, forgetting that a crowd is standing around you and yet rises together. It is the sign of a good shoegaze band. Eosine is one of those. The people of Luiken know exactly when to keep the reins tight and when the guitars can be let loose. Elena Lacroix is attached to her fairy-tale melodies and does not want them to dissolve into a My Bloody Valentine-like mush, but when allowed, it will definitely make your ears flutter. It's all at least as sharp and abrasive as The Haunted Youth and DIRK., with whom Eosine shares a label.
