Brainforest

In nature, the sounds of birds and trees rustling in the wind are the soundtrack that is inextricably linked to being present, there in that place. Sounds we are so accustomed to that they barely register. In the city, it is no different: honking cars and beeping gadgets are part of the soundtrack here. What do these background noises do to our state of mind? In the forest, the general feeling is often calm, but in the city, the sounds more frequently attract our attention and come to the forefront because they have something to tell us.

But there are also similarities: mobile phones often sound with their ringtones like chirping birds, and sometimes they are even made from samples of real birds. Brainforest plays with this parallel and reflects on the influence of daily background noises and the meaning of this constantly changing soundtrack.
