House aficionados keep the floor (and each other) locked into the rhythm
From Chicago to Detroit is 'only' a four-hour drive – child's play in the North American context. But within that distance, Kevin Lo and Pelanoir make their presence felt. Both DJs have specialized in the house traditions of their respective cities, squeezing out every last drop and packing plenty back in. In service of groove and opulence, the two also draw from deep house (in its older, more soulful form), techno (naturally of the Detroit variety as well), acid, jazz, and hip-hop. Is it already almost light and have you reached your destination? You could easily make the journey all over again, fueled purely by euphoria.
