Dutch-speaking duo leads us not into temptation, but delivers us from the hangover
For a few years now, there have been no more performances on Vlieland's Kerkplein – especially not on Sundays. But why should you, when you can also hold your service on the Sportveld? Clean Pete interrupts the news broadcast activities, a fixture for years, for an Alternative Mass. Come unto them, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, because on the last day Loes and Renée Wijnhoven provide their Dutch-language songs with an ecclesiastical class – complete with a choir, that is. This offers room for reflection, but knowing Clean Pete, that angelic singing will not be able to mask their sharp pen.
