The ticket sales for Into The Great Wide Open 2026 start on January 31 at 10:00 AM on our website. Here you will find all relevant information.
Festival tickets
For Into The Great Wide Open, only weekend tickets (August 27 to 30) are available for purchase. You can order a maximum of four tickets per ticket type per order. Prices are excl. €3.50 service charges per ticket, but including a €15 Good Travel Surcharge (this amount is refunded if you travel to Vlieland without fossil fuels) per adult ticket. Travel & accommodation are not included with your festival ticket. Read more about it here.

* €270,- + €15,- Good Travel Surcharge. With each adult ticket, the Good Travel surcharge of €15,- is included again this year. Those who travel sustainably can request a refund of this amount.
THE WAITING LIST
Into The Great Wide Open 2026 is sold out. If you still want to obtain tickets, your best chance is to register for The Waiting List. From February 2 at 12:00 PM until July 1 at 12:00 PM, ticket holders can offer festival tickets and vouchers for The Long Pole here.
Selling ticket(s)?
In the confirmation email from Paylogic, there is a button 'MyOrder'. There you indicate which tickets you want to offer. Do you have a ticket left that you want to sell after July 1? Then you can offer your ticket starting July 1 at 12:00 PM on the Resale Platform.
The original buyer – also known as the main buyer – is the only one who can offer tickets and receive money back. This applies even if tickets have already been personalized or transferred to another name.
Unsold tickets will automatically returned to their owner; we do not take tickets in return.
Resale platform
Do you want to buy or sell tickets safely after closing The Waiting List? Then starting from July 1, use the Resale Platform from Into The Great Wide Open. Here, tickets can be resold for up to 100% (or less) of the original price. Quite fair. View all information about the Resale Platform here.
Payment
The transactions for the ticket sales go through Paylogic. When you order children's tickets, you need to fill in the age for each child's ticket that the child will have on Thursday, August 27, 2026. So keep all your information and possibly the ages of the children at hand. Payments are made via iDeal, VISA, or Bankcontact.
Error message
If something goes wrong during the ordering process, click the back button within the Paylogic environment (not the back button in your browser). You can then try to complete your order again.
The payment phase with your bank is a secure area for us and Paylogic. In the payment phase, there is no back button. If something goes wrong here, we are unfortunately unable to determine what happened.
Personalize
After purchasing tickets, we ask you to personalize the festival tickets. This can be done immediately, but can also be done at a later time, up until the start of the festival. You can do this through the confirmation email from Paylogic. Did you buy tickets for your friends? Then we also ask you to personalize your friends' tickets. They will receive a confirmation via email.
Stortemelk camping vouchers, vouchers for De Lange Paal, and children's tickets (ages 4 to 17) do not need to be personalized.
Change name
It is possible to change the name on your personalized ticket. Go to 'Order Status' via your confirmation email from Paylogic at the bottom of the email. Using the 'Name Change' button, you can adjust the name on the ticket. If it doesn't work, you can also take a look at the explanation from Paylogic.
Know where you buy
No matter how much you want to come, do not buy your ticket(s) through channels other than our own official sales channel: intothegreatwideopen.nl. If you cannot obtain tickets during the pre-sale of Into The Great Wide Open, never buy your ticket(s) through channels that do not belong to intothegreatwideopen.nl. Check Know Where You Buy for a nearly complete overview of scalpers.
It's good to know that we will only send the e-tickets to the ticket buyers shortly before the festival. By sending the tickets a little later, we hope to prevent the circulation of invalid tickets.
Overnight stay
When purchasing your festival ticket on January 31 at 10:00 AM, there is also the option to buy a camping Stortemelk camping voucher, a camping spot at De Lange Paal or BlueCamp. These options are offered in the same ticket environment and are available in limited quantities.
Camping voucher Stortemelk: voucher for 1 tent spot, max. 4 people | €11,- | max. 2 per order
With this voucher you can make a reservation for one tent at Camping Stortemelk for a maximum of four people. The rates for the camping spot itself can be found on the Stortemelk website. The booking link for Stortemelk will be sent directly to the ticket buyers of Stortemelk Vouchers via email. This voucher can be redeemed until February 27 at 4:00 PM. After that, it expires.
Camping spot De Lange Paal: 1 person, 4 nights | €85,- | max. 6 per order
A camping spot at De Lange Paal includes a reservation for one person for four nights (arrival on Wednesday, August 26 or Thursday, August 27). If you want to stay longer, you can arrange this on-site with the forest ranger. Regardless of the number of tents you bring, you need a voucher for everyone aged 5 and up.
BlueCAMP arrangement: 2 persons, 4 nights | €525,- | max. 2 per order
This arrangement includes a stay for two persons for four nights, with a choice of stay from Wednesday to Sunday or from Thursday to Monday, in one of the double BlueCAMP tents at De Lange Paal. Each morning a fresh breakfast is included. If you want to stay longer, you can do so via info@bluecamp.nl.
In the tent available:
- 2x air mattress covered with sheets and pillows in a pillowcase. Note: bring your own warm sleeping bag!
- 1x reading lamp
- 1x organizer to store your personal items
Other accommodation options
If you do not want to camp, you can also choose a hotel or holiday home via VVV Vlieland, Op Vlieland or on a ship in the harbor via Rederij Vooruit.
