The Cornerstones: Chris and Mirjam
Every house starts with a sturdy cornerstone. Just like Into The Great Wide Open needs such building blocks to bring the festival to life. In The Cornerstones, we follow the people whose work is indispensable for the festival. This time: the transformation of Vlieland's forest into festival grounds by the Technical Production team.
Mirjam and Chris lead the entire technical production and ensure that all ideas that arise at the drawing board actually find a place on the grounds. Building on location begins two weeks in advance, but we take a look at how the grounds look one day before the opening.
