Leaving to the Great Wide Open Foundation can only be done with a will, drawn up by a notary. This establishes a deed in which it is precisely described what you want to leave to the Great Wide Open Foundation and under what conditions. If you decide to leave, you can choose between a will or a legacy.
Designate the Great Wide Open Foundation as a (co-)heir in your will. Once all rights of others (legacies, estate costs, and other debts) have been deducted from the total estate, the heirs receive their proportional share of the inheritance.
You can include the Great Wide Open Foundation in the will with a legacy. A legacy is a specific amount of money or a certain (real estate) property that the Great Wide Open Foundation receives.
The Great Wide Open Foundation is a cultural Public Benefit Organization (ANBI), and is therefore exempt from inheritance tax. This means that your estate will fully benefit the Great Wide Open Foundation.
